Ghosts, exposição de Sam Taylor-Wood com fotos que exploram os mouros de Yorkshire, inspirado diretamente pelo clássico de Emily Brontë, o romance vitoriano Wuthering Heights , cujas famosas descrições atmosférica da vida selvagem, e da paisagem desolada transformaram o local em grande personagem da novela. Por muitos anos, Taylor-Wood manteve uma casa de campo na mesma região de West Yorkshire, onde Emily Brontë e sua família literária e artística viveu. Nas dez imagens da série que estão expostas no Museu do Brooklyn, Taylor-Wood captura o caráter austero da paisagem varrida pelo vento e céu cinzento ao redor de "Withens Top", uma fazenda em ruínas. Sam Taylor-Wood: "Ghosts" é a mais recente exposição na Galeria herstory da Elizabeth A. Sackler Centro de Arte Feminista, que é dedicado a assuntos que exploram as importantes contribuições das mulheres na chamada Judy Chicago, The Dinner Party .
